Vitalism, Relationships, and the location of power

I’ve been trying to communicate something very similar to this in my own writings on the imagination of power and vitality in Cambodia. I’m in the middle of a difficult section of writing, and won’t waste my or your time trying to hash it out here.

Check out a post today by Strong over at the anthroblog Savage Minds. Strong combines an appreciation of some of my favorites – Roy Wagner and Marilyn Strathern – in a clear exposition of some of the issues at work. And the point of the post is about how to define life! Fascinating stuff.
